LAKE TEKAPO
So today I start the Kiwi experience ! It’s so hard to explain but it’s like a ticket u buy and you can hop on and off this buss and stay at the different stops for however long you want and it’s flexible and you end up with all backpackers like you and you can journey on with them ! Hard to explain but literally perfect for my situation because I was just going to do it all my self but this is all done for you oh wow so stress free hahaha.
Got on the coach and started the journeyyyyyy. Was able to catch up with mum and dad and Alison and Micheal which was SO LOVELY so much love !
And then my favorite thing listening to my music and looking out the window awww so relaxing I love it.
Then me and two new friends from the Kiwi bus decided to do the Lake Tekapo hot springs !!!! Oh my was so amazing ! It’s so cold so the warmth was unreal ! And the view was insane with the mountains. We got in around 15:45 and didn’t leave till like 18:30 hahah we watched the sun set and the stars begin to come out !
We then walked back to the hostel and saw the most incredible stars ! So amaizng to think it’s a whole other set to the ones back home ! I couldn’t get over how beautiful they were. We went back to the hostel to eat food but when we went back out it got cloudy which was a shame but at least we saw them for a moment !

A lovely day ! I was a bit nervous starting this kiwi experience wondering what it might be like but oh my I think it will be great ! Happy daysssss

I think you did a great job of capturing the sky. Did you know that you can’t see the north star, because you’re in the southern hemisphere, you see the southern cross instead. It’s a good proof that the earth is not flat!

We went to a place called hot water beach, in Waikato where you dug a hole in the sand and it was a hot spring. I also remember hot springs in the Rockies in Canada. Great memories.
