New Zealand – Day 4 (10/6/23)

QUEENSTOWN

Oooo wee today was a big day ! I booked something crazy hahah I felt that because I’m in adventure capital of the world I had to be adventurous !! So in order to feeel ALIVE and PUMPED I started my day swimming in Queenstown lake hahaha

After this I went back to the the hostel and went in the sauna (very fancy) I sprinted to it and sat for a while to warm up haha. I then had a shower and got ready ahhhhhh

So I decided to do the canyon swing with is apparently the biggest in the world ! Ahhahaha. Cannot belive it hahah. A coach came to pick me and a few others doing the fall and it was about 15 Minuit drive away. They showed videos of other people falling hahahha my little heart was racing hahah

We then went to this little podium and everyone started jumping off AHH. There are loads of different ways you can fall (go on down a slide or on a chair or on a tricycle or blindfolded or jump just loads haha) I decided to get my string cut with a knife AHHHH

I went last so I was watching everyone come back up all excited to hype me up hahha Im not gonna lie I was touching cloth one might say

When it was my time to go I literally lost controle of what I was saying and doing hahahaha. I was a different woman 😂 looking over the edge OH MY OOOOOO. So no judgment please for the way I acted hahaha

This is the full video of the swing hahahhha I can’t quite hear what I’m saying but at the beginning deffinatly I say ‘i shouldn’t have eaten that blueberry muffin’ and a lots of ‘oh my s*it’ I apologies for the profanity’s I blame my Dad for that. I think the worst was hearing the threads go and not knowing when you were gonna drop ahahah maddness. They were laughing at me because I said I felt unhinged haha

It really was an amazing experience one I will never forget hahaa. It was flipping terrifying I felt I was falling for SO LONG i think they said a 60m free fall ? But then the swing at the bottom is so fun because you can just enjoy the beautiful scenery!

We drove back to queenstown and I treated myself to another one of there beautiful burgers hahahaha because they are really something else haha

Got back to my hostel and did laundry and relaxed a while which was nice. Got my heart rate down a little

The hostel had a pub crawl organised which I got involved with. It was so fun !!! I didn’t get pictures really but we went to 6 places and got free pizza WOO meant to be 1 slice but I managed to get 3! Ahahhaah no one was eating it soooo

An incredible day !!! Absolutely loved it. Still cant belive ahah
