San Francisco – Hawaii
San Francisco exceeded all my expectations ! Was such an amaizng few days.
I will say that solo travelling so far has really helped me understand just sheer human kindness ! (Obviously I’m still being savvy and aware haha) but really everyday so far someone has done something that has just been so lovley and taken me aback. Maybe because they see I’m a woman solo travelling they reach out , but yeh ! This trip is restoring my faith in human nature – hahaa let’s get deep ! Some people are just inherently good
Okay, haha, I keep needing to remind myself some people are actually reading this and it’s not just my diary 😂 anywayyy
Dear diary …. so today I woke up and had my final breakfast at the hostel with Cristina and Niklas and some others. Sad to say bye been so lovley meeting new people !

Then my room mate let me go in his Uber to the airport (which was Amazing because it meant I didn’t need to do an hour of public transport with my bag !) Again just people being kind I was so grateful.
Got to the airport checked myself in. Very fast I was straight into duty free amazing.

The journey was 6 hours I think. But I slept most of the way ! It went so fast hahahah. Was so cute all the flight attendants had flowers in there hair !

I cannot explain just how long I’ve wanted to come to Hawaii and how much of a pipe dream I thought it was ! I feel I’m in such a privileged position and I’m not taking that lightly at all. For this reason hahah I’m an emotional wreak. When we touched down I was fully crying – people must have thought I was a right weirdo ! Hahaha. I had to explain that it’s always been my dream.

And thus the journey to honolulu came to an end …,
I agree, I think on balance it’s better to adopt an approach that people are fundamentally good (with appropriate care as you say). I’m not so sure there is any dream that can’t be achieved. Sure, it might be expensive, or take a long time, or seem out of reach for now, but if you can dream it you can achieve it if you really, really want to. And now.. I’m researching Brian and Charles, which looks delightful and I may have to watch it, although it seems hard to pin down on my streaming services.
Can I ask a question. How did you approach communications on this trip. US phone with data plan? Free WiFi?

I worked it out with my plan on EE I think I paid £15 extra for it to be transfered to all other country’s but it’s a little confusing haha. Brain and Charles is wonderful !!!
