When I arrived it was about 1:30 and 20*. I keep having to pinch myself !! I went back in time baby. *back to the future music plays*
Got though boarders all good (except they didn’t give me a stamp so I’m hoping they do that later ) and then got on the metro system the BART to get to my hostel

I got on a bus after that to my hostel and I was gonna pay in cash but apparently theres an app and the driver let me on for freeeeee. Wooohoo baby. It was literally 3 stops I could have walked

I arrived at my hostel it’s so so cool ! I think I’m going to really like it here. I went straight for a shower to feel alive again and got ready to leave haha.

After this I got ready back to the hostel and got dressed for a meal. Every night in this hostel they have an event on for all the travelers ! Tonight was a meal and music !

Such an amaizng way to meet people all a similar age and most solo travelers like me ! I was eating with what felt like could have been some sort of meeting for Eurovision – haha. A lovey Spanish lady, a French lady, a German lady, a Dutch boy and a London boy I’m sure someone said they were from Finland too . Had some great conversations !!( Not about Eurovision unfortunately)

If someone said to me ‘on your first night you will sing kareoke’ i would say ‘yeh in my DREAMS’. Actually my Dad challenged me to sing kareoke in every place but I didn’t think it would be this quick. I’m very happy right now hahahah. Let’s see what tomorrow brings
Night night ❤️
Hi Becs, this is Sheila, one of your mum`s friends. I`m following your blog. It looks absolutely fantastic, you look to be having a great time already. It`s such an exciting thing for you to do.
Can I ask how you first went about choosing routes, flights, hostels etc, is there a website that can help? I think this is something that Jenny would love to do at some stage.
If you don`t want to write it all on here , you can let your mum know and she will be able to pass it on.
Keep safe and carry on having a tremendous time. xx

Aww thanks so much ! Yeh of corse !!! I did the route and flights through a travel agency called Travel Nation , they were amazing ! I gave them such a hard task to stick to my budget and do it in my time frame with places I never thought would work but he did it ! They are so Lovley too I feel safe with them they give u loads of helpful tips and advice too! Travel nation got all the flights but I have been organising my own accommodation. I look on Hostel world , Air bnb and occasionally booking.com I kind of compare which will be cheeper and look for the best reviews and location. I seem to have booked the majority through Hostelworld. I had to get Insurance and visas and all that jazz but After this I just go with the flow !
I hope that helps ! It really is a wonderful time so far x

I can’t quite till if your karaoke comments about not being likely to do it are serious or not, but perhaps I see your singing ability in a different light. Anyway, you styled it out very well. I had some similar initial questions as Sheila but your reply was most helpful
